In 2361, almost every young student on earth that isn’t already there dreams of being accepted to study at the University of Archivillia (pronounced ark-uh-vill-ee-uh) on Archive Island. Earth is ruled by the militaristic United World Government (UWG), which, was created through a motion at the United Nations. It was apparent that democratic governments had no chance of implementing the drastic changes necessary to reduce worldwide consumption. Archive Island is now the only place on earth where you can speak freely, create art, own a car, and hear the voices of a society that flourished long ago.
